Scuba Diving |
Sky Diving – I have always fantasized this one and I know it is not easy. One needs immense courage to even think of really doing it. Even I am not sure if I would be able to jump or not while standing at the door of an aircraft, looking down thousands of feet. In case I am not able to jump, I will definitely ask someone to push me.
Scuba Diving – I am not a swimmer, but going under water is my dream. It is not going to be an easy task but I know it will be a different world all together there and worth experiencing.
Rafting on the Colorado River – I have tried rafting earlier in Rishikesh, India, but now I want to experience rafting on the Colorado River. Located in the Grand Canyon area, one can capture the beauty of the river as you travel down it. Here you can raft a total of over 200km in six days. The beauty of the Grand Canyon is totally divine and something to savor, with walls and waterfalls that are just waiting to be explored.
Bungee Jumping – I have always believed that I am not afraid of heights, but I am sure that Bungee jumping is either going to make my belief much stronger or going to shatter it completely (chances of later seems to be higher). Whichever way, I am going to try it.River Rafting |

Ostrich Racing – Weird? Not really. In some countries, people do race each other on the back of ostriches. This practice is common in Africa and is relatively unusual elsewhere. Did you know that Ostrich’s eyes are almost on the side of their head, enabling them to view almost 360 degrees around them? What will you do if they suddenly stop in between the race and look right into your eyes?
Paragliding/Parasailing – Who doesn't like to fly? Well, unless someone is afraid of heights. This is the most safest and smoothest of all adventure sports and one can enjoy beautiful view of entire area while gliding. The main difference between paragliding and parasailing is that parasailers are attached to a vehicle (usually a motor boat) that generates enough momentum and connects the parasailers to safety. Where as Paragliding is a recreational and competitive flying sport. A paraglider is a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft. I have tried parasailing in Goa and Thailand, now it is turn for paragliding.
Zorbing – This is one of my worst fear. It is rolling downhill inside an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Zorbing is usually performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface, permitting more rider control. More you roll, greater are the chances to puke. Kinky eh?
So which ones are you going to try? Challenge Accepted?
Challenge Accepted . I have already tried scuba diving in Bali , Para Sailing on Diu beach and Calangute beach and river rafting in Rishikesh . Ostrich Racing sounds fun !!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is awesome. So, Ostrich racing is next?
DeleteLike in the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara?
ReplyDeleteI've done Paragliding, Parasailing and Zorbing. I would love to do Sky Jump & Scuba too. I also want to do Ziplining and a segway driving.
Kind of, yes. Go ahead, and try what you want and the share with me. All the best :)
DeleteCheers!
Since I watched the movie.. ZNMD ... I have a crush on underwater diving..and I am not a swimmer either. River rafting is another sport I would want to go for. I would like to know more about Zorbing before I say anything on it. What I would never do is riding on the back of an Ostrich, the idea itself sounds weird.
ReplyDeleteWeird is fun sometimes, give it a shot ;)
DeleteBungee jumping the scariest.
