Yea, yea, yea, as far as it goes and you are into traveling, you must have come across this inevitable question "Are you a beach person or a mountain person?". Well, we always pick a side as our mind wanders through all the timeless memories we may have created during all those vacations we had. We all have our own preference, our own likeliness to certain kind of holiday we look forward to.
Well, if you are not living under a rock, you must be knowing that it is not just a regular question, the answer to it reflects about person's nature as per the study in the Journal of Research in Personality, extroverts prefer the beach to the mountains, while introverts prefer the opposite. It reflects the personality of a person, instinct of a person. But does it actually?
I am an introvert at heart (sometimes in a professional life, I have to bring out the traits of an extrovert, it is a competitive world after all) and I somehow do not agree with the findings of any such study. Despite being an introvert, I am a Beach Bum, I Love Beaches and to me word Vacation means me lying on a sunny beach listening to the waves holding a bottle of beer. That is the moment when I disconnect from the real world, life problems and its just me all by myself in a state of Trance (not that beer makes me high).
On the other hand, I would be lying if I say I don't love mountains. I do love mountains and more I explore, more it unfolds new pages from its book of secrets. I love sitting on a mountain top and gaze for hours admiring the view, thinking about life, people i care. It makes me realize that how tiny we and our problems are. Hand me a cup of hot tea, a good book overlooking sunset and waiving pine tree on top of a mountain, that's what I call a magic wand in nature's hand.
To be honest, it doesn't matter what kind of person you are from either of the two. All that matters is you have to be a Fun Person to cherish whatever or wherever you are.
Keep Traveling!
