A Traveler's Wife

She supports, cribs, helps, argues and takes care. She does it all to make a perfect planned vacation, a memorable one. She ensures to make every moment cheerful and creates a comfort zone no matter where we are. She leaves no stone unturned to make me feel like home anywhere.

She cribs whenever approached to go to a new travel venture, but with few efforts, she becomes more than excited about the trip. She plans ahead and ensures every need is fulfilled during travel.

She is an expert in packing and does it all without much help. I still remember, from our first vacation, Goa to the latest one to Udaipur, she took care of everything, except the Manali one when I did all the packing as a result of a lost bet. It made her happy, but, her happiness only lasted until we reached there and realised that I have forgot few essentials. I don't think she would ever ask me to pack again. Well, good for me.

She shops and loves to purchase souvenirs and is also good at bargaining. I do firmly believe that someday, atleast one holiday will be sponsored from all the money saved via all the bargaining done during all our previous vacations.

She never said a word even when her legs started to pain as a result of too much walking during our trip to Thailand. She wanted me to see everything and she did not complain at all. I felt guilty when I got to know about this, but not for long as she asked me a to do something in return. I can still hear her evil laugh. Now that's a different funny story. Still, all she did to make me happy, hats off to her.

She ensures that I feel comfortable during our journey and sleep well. Wherever we are, I feel like home. I still remember how she took care of me when I was not well and did everything she could.

Being traveler is still easy . Being a traveler's wife is the difficult part.

    1. That's great. Even we share same thoughts but I have a bad habit to take things to extreme sometimes.

      Cheers!
